BillSmooth ("the App") is a personal budgeting tool. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App handles, how it is stored, and your rights.
BillSmooth does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal or financial data on our servers. There are no user accounts and no sign-up.
All information you enter into the App — account names, balances, transactions, recurring transfers, preferences — is stored locally on your device.
Your data lives in the App's local storage on your device. It is included in your device's standard backup:
These backups are operated by Apple and Google respectively; their handling is governed by their own privacy policies. You can disable these backups in your device settings.
You can also manually export your data as a JSON file from the Settings screen, and import it later on the same or another device.
The App does not make any network requests in its current version. It works entirely offline.
We do not use any analytics, advertising identifiers, or third-party tracking SDKs.
The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them.
Because all your data stays on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete all of it at any time from the Settings screen, or by uninstalling the App.
A future, opt-in household-sharing feature may allow you to sync data between your own devices or with a partner. That feature is not enabled in this version. If it is introduced in a future release, this policy will be updated to describe what data is transmitted and how it is stored.
If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised version here.
